HP SLIMTYPE DVD DRIVER

How satisfied are you with this reply? Historically, it stopped working several days ago, magically started again and then went away. Only remove the items that the steps show. Also, what are the troubleshooting methods that you have already tried? I tried several troubleshooting methods none have worked.

I tried several troubleshooting methods none have worked. Deleted the upper and lower. The disk booted just fine and attempted to install XP without any difficulty, so I know that the drive itself is working properly.

Does your HP have a Slimtype DVD A DS8AZH drive?

In the Start Search box type Windows Update. Before it stopped working, I hadn't done anything but the regular updates and a defrag a month previous. I have the same drive that Ps KimS has, but with a slightly different problem.

Thanks slumtype your feedback, it helps us improve the site. None of those had any trouble. I have manually uninstalled drivers and rebooted, at which juncture the drives are reinstalled with no difference in condition. Yes, my password is: I have that drive but I haven't really done anything with it yet except to rip some DVD's and those all turned out well.

In a word, NO. Cannot spin the recovery disk obviously. PsKimS Created on March 23, Russell Cougar Replied on December 3, Do this for all devices that have the yellow triangle next to them. It also has an "error 39" as well.
