Anyone with other ideas? My drive had been working fine for over a year, and one day just stopped. And thankfully it worked again. Because it has attracted low-quality or spam answers that had to be removed, posting an answer now requires 10 reputation on this site the association bonus does not count. I do not know why this works, but it does.

Uninstall the device in this case the Initio Default Asjsand make sure to select the option to delete the existing driver 2.

So my windows is not bad at all. I uninstalled it and scanned for hardware and the drive popped up immediately!

I never even noticed the Initio device before. Turned out that Windows 10 v did not like the old Initio default controller driver.
